Kelly Donnelly returns to the sidelines, trading in a jersey for a clipboard and joining the Skidmore Women's Basketball staff as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2018-19 season and beyond.

Donnelly will assist head coach Jessica Turner in recruiting and player development, with an eye towards working with the Thoroughbred guards and post players.

"Kelly is no stranger to the Liberty League," said Turner, "so her familiarity with the league combined with her knowledge and passion for the game made her the perfect addition to our staff."

Donnelly, a 2018 graduate, is arguably one of the most decorated players in Skidmore basketball history, completing a four-year career in which she set multiple program records. Skidmore's first two-time WBCA All-American and the Liberty League's first three-time league Player of the Year, Donnelly averaged 17.0 points and 9.6 rebounds in 107 career games. The team captain set the Skidmore single-season scoring record as a junior with 543 points, and is the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,823 points.
