Liz Neubinski Headshot 24

Liz Neubinski

Neubinski took over the Skidmore softball program in July 2022 after four years as head coach at SUNY Cobleskill.

The Thoroughbreds won 19 games over Nebinski's first two years in Saratoga Springs. She coached three All-Liberty League selections in 2024 including Grace O'Connell '24 (First Team), Bernie Berner '24 (Second Team), and Elle Harrison '26 (Honorable Mention). O'Connell was also voted to the NFCA All-Region Second Team and joined classmate Berner on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. In her first year as the head coach at Skidmore, she coached All-Liberty League First Team honoree Meghan Robertson '23, who hit .407 as a two-way standout for the Thoroughbreds.

Neubinski led the 2022 Cobleskill team to a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Western Division regular-season championship with an 11-1 record. She was named the 2022 NAC Coach of the Year and produced a program-record six all-conference selections. Her 2022 squad led the division with 95 runs, 138 hits, 26 doubles, eight home runs, 87 RBI, and 40 extra-base hits with a team batting average of .400. Additionally, Neubinski's 2019 team won the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) North Division and won the first postseason game in program history.

Neubinski returned to the Liberty League after a stellar playing career at the University of Rochester from 2008-2011. As the program won a pair of Liberty League titles and earned two NCAA Tournament appearances, Neubinski was honored on the All-University Athletic Association Second Team as a rookie before a pair of All-Liberty League Honorable Mention nods followed by Liberty League All-Conference Second Team recognition as a senior.

Prior to Cobleskill, Neubinski spent two years in Southern California as the head coach at the University of Redlands, where she led the program to 31 victories including 22 wins in the highly competitive Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).

Neubinski previously served as the head coach and assistant sports information director at Wells College and was instrumental to the re-implementation of the softball program, which included the development of the school's first turf field.

Neubinski began her coaching career as a full-time assistant at Hamilton College and acted as the interim head coach during a four-month transition in the head-coaching position.

She earned a bachelors in Studio Arts from Rochester as well as a masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University.
