Skidmore College Athletics

Alexis Cooke enters her first full season as Skidmore College softball’s pitching coach in 2025-26. A starting pitcher and two-time captain at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Cooke captured the 2023 Liberty League Pitcher of the Year honor, collected eight Pitcher-of-the-Week awards, and earned a place on the 2024 NFCA All-American Watch List. 

Cooke completed her M.B.A. in Life Science Entrepreneurship at RPI after graduating with dual B.S. degrees in Biochemistry/Biophysics and Biological Neuroscience. Since 2023 she has provided private and group instruction at Frozen Ropes (Albany, N.Y.), emphasizing mechanical analysis, targeted drills, and advanced pitch development. At Skidmore she will oversee work with the pitching staff.
