Nicki Damiano returns to Skidmore after serving as the head swimming coach and aquatics director at SUNY Cobleskill for past four years. While at Cobleskill, she guided both programs to top-two finishes at NEAC championships the past two years and was twice voted the NEAC coach of the year. Her teams also set 36 program records.

Prior to Cobbleskill, Damiano served as the associate swimming coach for the Thoroughbreds from 2009-2011. She also has an extensive club coaching background, specifically with the Schenectady-Saratoga Sharks, the United Aquatic Club (Johnson City, NY) and Cortland YMCA (Cortland, NY).Â

Damiano received her bachelor's degree from SUNY Cortland, swimming for the Red Dragons for four years and serving as captain her senior year. She established four college records, was part of an NCAA B-qualifying 200 Medley Relay and was the SUNYAC champion in the 100 Butterfly her senior year. Damiano earned her master's degree in Geography from Binghamton University.
