Ron McEachen

Ron McEachen has built the Skidmore soccer program into a nationally competitive team.  In 12 seasons at Skidmore, his teams have a 110-80-12 record.  McEachen has a career coaching record of 290-187-66 in 32 seasons, including stints as head coach at the University of Vermont from 1985-1995 and at Middlebury College from 1974-84.  He left UVM in 1995 to join the coaching staff of the New England Revolution. 

A 1969 graduate of West Virginia University, McEachen was a first-team All-America before going on to a professional career (1971-78) with the New York Cosmos and Miami Toros of the NASL and the Connecticut Wildcats, Pittsburgh Miners, and Rhode Island Oceaneers of the ASL.

He has been a national staff coach for both the United States Soccer Association and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
