TROY, N.Y. – Sophomore Ginevra Muratori was selected as the Liberty League Women's Tennis Singles Performer of the Week, and earned Doubles Team of the Week honors with partner Nandini Chandra. Chandra was also picked as the Rookie of the Week for the week ending Sept. 20.
 
Six others were honored on the weekly Honor Roll. Tate Esler (men's golf), Colby Paul (field hockey), Colin Goodhines and Nathan Gritzmacher (men's soccer), Abby Lewis (women's soccer), and Chloe Heitman (volleyball) were each recognized on the Honor Roll.
 
Ginevra Muratori (So., Como, Italy) – Liberty League Women's Tennis Singles Performer of the Week
Muratori went 2-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles over the weekend at the Thoroughbred Invitational. She earned wins vs. No. 1 players from Smith and RPI. In her match vs. Smith's top player, she was down 7-2 in the third set super tie-breaker, before winning eight straight points to win it 10-7. Only singles loss was as a very tight 8-6 loss to Swarthmore's top player. Also went 3-0 in doubles. Partnered with first year Nandini Chandra to get wins over Smith and Swarthmore's top teams. Then, she teamed with fellow sophomore Ellie Lake to notch a win vs. another pair from Swarthmore.

Chandra and Muratori went 2-0 vs. top teams from Swarthmore and Smith at the Thoroughbred Invitational over the weekend to open the season.
 
Nandini Chandra (Fr., Edison, New Jersey) - Liberty League Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
In her collegiate debut, Chandra notched five wins in singles and doubles over the weekend. She defeated opponents from Swarthmore, Smith, and RPI in her singles matches to go a perfect 3-0 in singles matches. She also partnered with Ginevra Muratori to go 2-0 at the No. 1 doubles spot vs. Swarthmore and Smith.
 
Tate Esler (Sr., Westfield, New Jersey) – Liberty League Men's Golf Honor Roll
Esler tied for sixth place at the weekend's 54-hole Williams Fall Invitational at the Taconic Golf Club. Recording three straight rounds in the low 70s, Esler improved a stroke in each of his three steady rounds, shooting scores of 74, 73, and 72 respectively. His Sunday 72 was the second-best individual score of the day in wet and rainy conditions.
 
Colby Paul (#16, Sr., F, Cheshire, Connecticut) – Liberty League Field Hockey Honor Roll
Paul scored two goals in Saturday's Skidmore 6-2 victory over visiting Thomas College. Her first of the year in the 61^st minute made it 5-2, and she then netted her second insurance tally two minutes later to complete the scoring.
 
Colin Goodhines (#11, Sr., F/M, Longmeadow, Massachusetts) – Liberty League Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Goodhines had two goals and two assists for six points across two games in an unbeaten week for the Thoroughbreds. On Wednesday at Plattsburgh, he assisted on the tying goal in the 85^th minute. Then, in Saturday's 3-2 victory over Brandeis, the senior scored two, including the late game winner, and assisted on the other to lead Skidmore to its second win of the year. Goodhines had seven shots on the week across 161 minutes played.
 
Nathan Gritzmacher (#5, Fr., M, Simsbury, Connecticut) – Liberty League Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Gritzmacher played all but four minutes across Skidmore's two games last week, with a profound impact on both ends of the field. In Wednesday's tie at Plattsburgh, he logged 86 minutes of solid play in the midfield before putting in a full 90 on Saturday in the win over Brandeis where he set up Skidmore's second goal in the first half that made it 2-0.
 
Abby Lewis (#20, Sr., F, East Greenwich, Rhode Island) – Liberty League Women's Soccer Honor Roll
Lewis scored both Skidmore goals on Wednesday at Clarkson in a 3-2 Liberty League opening loss to the Golden Knights. Her 56^th minute goal, her first of the year, made it 3-1 before pulling the Thoroughbreds to within a goal nine minutes later. She finished with a game high six shots.
 
Chloe Heitman (#9, So., OH, Acton, Massachusetts) – Liberty League Women's Volleyball Honor Roll
In Saturday's tri-match sweeps over Sage and Plattsburgh, Heitman totaled 23 kills (3.83 per set) while swinging .385 for the afternoon consisting of just three errors. She also had 14 digs (2.33 per set) with two blocks and a pair of aces. Heitman had double-digit kills in both contests to lead the Thoroughbreds offensively.
