INDIANAPOLIS – Skidmore College first-years
Ginevra Muratori and
Amelie Gonzalez have been selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Doubles Championship, as announced Wednesday afternoon. In addition, Muratori will also compete in the 32-player NCAA Singles Championship later this month.
The Thoroughbreds duo looks to continue a stellar debut season that already includes an ITA Regional singles title for Muratori, along with a doubles qualification to the ITA Cup during the fall season.
The individual championships shall consist of 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. The selection of teams and individuals for the championships is based on won-lost record, strength of schedule and eligibility and availability of student-athletes.
The team championship will take place May 20-21, while the individual championships will be May 22-25, both at the Champions Tennis Club, in Chattanooga, Tennessee; hosted by The University of the South.
