SKIDMORE (20-16, 7-7 Liberty League)

• Skidmore is the second-best hitting team in the Liberty League, trailing only Rochester, with a .349 team batting average. Skidmore is second in runs, hits, doubles, and home runs, and lead with 16 triples and 120 stolen bases.
• The Thoroughbreds are third in the league in team fielding percentage (.956).
• Offensively, Sophia Finch and Natalie Mayne lead, both hitting over .400. Finch is at .415 with a team high five home runs. Mayne is hitting .402 with 32 RBI. Finch is second in the league in slugging percentage (.732) and OPS (1.216).
• Sam Waters is tied for the conference lead in triples (5), and is second in stolen bases (34)
• In the circle, Mallory Allen (9-5) and Mayne (7-3) have combined for 16 of Skidmore's 20 wins, with a combined 4.35 ERA.
• Defensively, shortstop Nate' Burley is far and away the league leader, and is fourth in Division III, with 121 assists.
• The Thoroughbreds are making their first tournament appearance since 2022 and are looking for their first postseason victory since reaching the championship game in 2016.

• vs. Ithaca: 1-1 in 2026. Bombers won 15 of previous 16 meetings since joining the Liberty League prior to 2018 season.
• vs. Rensselaer: 0-2 in 2026, both by one run. Engineers have won each of the last nine since a split in 2022.
• vs. St. Lawrence: 1-1. Thoroughbreds won game one last Saturday to clinch the No. 4 seed. The Saints are ahead 5-3 since 2023, but Skidmore won each of the previous eight before that. The series is 20-18 SLU since 2008.
