ITHACA, NY – The Skidmore College women's tennis team fell 4-0 to top-seeded Vassar to bow out in the Semifinals round of the Liberty League Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The Thoroughbreds conclude the season with a 6-14 record, while the Brewers advance onto the conference championship match with a 14-5 record.

DOUBLES MATCHES

• Skidmore's first doubles duo of Ginevra Muratori/Amelie Gonzalez cruised to a 6-1 victory over Vassar's Erin McCusker/Iris Li.
• However, the Brewers secured the doubles point after winning 6-1 at second doubles and 6-0 at third doubles.

SINGLES MATCHES

• Vassar took victories at fourth, fifth and sixth singles in straight sets to clinch the win.
• At first singles, first year Ginevra Muratori won the first set over Vassar's Erin McCusker, 6-3, and trailed set two 2-3 before the match was left unfinished.
• At second singles, freshman Amelie Gonzalez took a 6-4 win in set one and led 4-3 in the second set over the Brewers' Iris Li before the match was left unfinished.
• At third singles, first year Ellie Lake lost the first set 4-6 and led 5-4 over Vassar's Sieun Lee in the second set before the match was left unfinished.
