MILL SPRING, N.C. – The Skidmore College riding team is in second place, and just one point behind Centenary, at the end of two of three days at the IHSA National Championship at the Tryon International Equestrian Center.
- Skidmore has 32 points, while Centenary leads with 33. Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is in third with 29 points.
- Isa Washburne won the individual novice – Skidmore's first win of the championship.
- Ian Gaudio got the day started with a second-place finish in the intermediate fences.
- Ani McIntyre and Nila Rothman both earned third-place honors. McIntyre got bronze in the limit fences, while Rothman was third in the team introductory.
- In individual events, Stella Allen was sixth in the novice.
UP NEXT
The championship concludes on Sunday, with Skidmore seeking its 10
th national title.
