Skidmore in fourth place at Liberty League Championship with one round to play

VERONA, N.Y. – The Skidmore College golf team is in fourth place following the second of three days at the Liberty League Championship at the Shenandoah Course at Turning Stone on Saturday. Skidmore shot a team score of 302 in the second round.
  • Johnny Hwang put together another below-par round of 71 and he is in second place but six shots off the solo lead.
  • Patrick McLaughlin had 14 pars and a birdie on his day for a 75. He's in a tie for 23rd.
  • Rudraksha Banerjee shot a 38 on both sides for a 76 overall to sit in 17th.
  • Jaden Cheng enters the final round in a tie for 19th (71-81), and Tate Esler is tied for 28th (77-80).
  • NYU (280-293) still leads Rochester by 11 strokes. Oscar Uribe of NYU leads Cheng by six, and two others by seven. Five players are in red figures for the tournament.

The championship concludes on Sunday with final-round tee times beginning at 11 a.m. The Skidmore players begin going off at 11:50.
