BAYONNE, N.J. - The Skidmore College men's tennis won its sixth match in a row, 5-2, on the road at 38
th-ranked Stevens on Sunday morning.
- Skidmore, ranked 37th, has won its last six matches in a row – all by 5-2 scores except one (6-1 over RIT). The Thoroughbreds are 8-3.
- Stevens is 7-4.
- Skidmore won the doubles point and then rolled off four wins in six singles matches.
- In doubles, Kyle Lundberg and Ege Topbas topped Andhare/Chenemilla (6-4), while Nika Mori and Fletcher King won in a tiebreak over Kramin/Kanz.
- Topbas faced little resistance for his second win of the say at fourth doubles over Kramin, 6-1, 6-0.
- Mori also had two wins for Skidmore with a quick one in singles. In the No. 6 match, he took down Tristan Wroe 6-2, 6-1.
- Radin Sadeghi claimed a 6-1, 6-1 singles decision over Dhaivik Chenemilla.
- Then, with the closest bout of the day, Yuval Goodman outlasted Max-William Kanz at No. 1 singles with a dramatic 10-8 third-set tiebreak.
