TROY, N.Y. – A huge week of awards came in for Skidmore College student-athletes, as the Thoroughbreds claimed eight different Liberty League weekly awards.

Michael Aiello (#18, So., A, Rockville Centre, New York) – Liberty League Men's Lacrosse Offensive Performer of the Week
Aiello exploded for four goals and three assists for seven points on Saturday as the Thoroughbreds opened Liberty League play at home with a 16-12 win over 20
th-ranked Rensselaer. The sophomore put five of his six shot attempts on frame and scored on four of them. He also had a ground ball win the win.

Rachel Monser (#17, Jr., OF/P, Virginia Beach, Virginia) – Liberty League Softball Performer of the Week
Monser went 4-for-6 with a home run, two doubles, and four RBI on Saturday in Skidmore's doubleheader sweep of Castleton. She launched a solo homer and a two-RBI double in Skidmore's run-rule win in game one before singling in and scoring a run in game two, a 4-2 Skidmore win. She also made a pair of dazzling catches in left field.

Lulu Mickle (#15, Fr., IF, Baltimore, Maryland) – Liberty League Softball Rookie of the Week
Mickle went 3-for-6 with a pair of runs scored on Saturday for Skidmore in a doubleheader sweep of Castleton. She also stole a pair of bases on the afternoon and handled all four of her chances at third base cleanly.

Ege Topbas (Fr., Istanbul, Turkey) – Liberty League Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Topbas won his fifth and sixth singles matches in a row, and went 4-0 overall for the weekend, as Skidmore opened league play with victories over Hobart and RIT. Out of the No. 4 spot, he took down Michael Georgelis of Hobart 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) on Saturday before a 6-0, 6-1 qin over RIT's Gabriel Escobar on Sunday. He also teamed up with
Kyle Lundberg for 7-5 and 6-2 wins in doubles.

Kyle Lundberg/Ege Topbas - Liberty League Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Skidmore's second doubles team won both of their bouts over the weekend in Skidmore's wins over Hobart and RIT. They won a tight one, 7-5, over Kousaridis/Reid on Saturday and then cruised to a 6-2 victory over RIT's Turcotte, Ly on Sunday.

Ginevra Muratori (Fr., Como, Italy) – Liberty League Women's Tennis Singles Performer of the Week
Muratori went 4-0 overall with wins in both of her matches at No. 1 singles to help lead the Thoroughbreds to a weekend sweep over William Smith and RIT. Muratori dropped only three games across her two straight-set wins. She also teamed with
Amelie Gonzalez to defeat William Smith and RIT at No. 1 doubles.

Amelie Gonzalez (Fr., San Juan, Puerto Rico) - Liberty League Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week
Gonzalez went a perfect 4-0 at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Thoroughbreds in league wins over William Smith and RIT. She won both of her singles matches in straight sets, and teamed with
Ginevra Muratori to defeat both opponents in doubles by scores of 6-1 and 6-4. Â Â

Ginevra Muratori/Amelie Gonzalez – Liberty League Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Skidmore's top doubles team went 2-0 at the No. 1 doubles spot, as they defeated their opponents from William Smith and RIT at home by a combined 12-5 margin. Both first-year standouts also won both of their singles matches.Â

Mac Cady (#7, Jr., IF/OF, Wallingford, Connecticut) – Liberty League Baseball Honor Roll
Cady went 6-for-14 (.429) over the weekend series against Bard with six RBI and six runs scored. He had three hits including a game ending home run in game one of the series at home on Friday, a 16-5 Skidmore win. Then, he registered three singles, drove in three, and scored three times in the Saturday road split. He reached base at a .500 clip and recorded six put outs and an assist.

Jude Avelino Jr. (#39, Sr., D, Summit, New Jersey) - Liberty League Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll
Avelino caused four turnovers and picked up four ground balls on Saturday afternoon as the Thoroughbreds took down visiting Rensselaer, 16-12, at home to begin Liberty League play. Avelino and the Skidmore defense surrendered just one man-up goal to the Engineers in five attempts.

Kyle Lundberg (Sr., Manhattan Beach, California) -
Liberty League Men's Tennis Honor Roll
Lundberg went 4-0 overall and 2-0 in singles over the weekend as Skidmore opened league play with wins at home over Hobart and RIT. He took down Hobart's Achilleas Kousaridis 6-2, 6-3 on Saturday at second singles and then won over RIT's Evan Ly 6-2, 6-1 in the same spot.
