TROY, N.Y. – A pair of Skidmore College basketball players were recognized on the Liberty League Honor Roll for the week ending Feb. 8. Nick Padilla from the men's team and Madison Meyer from the women's squad were this week's Skidmore representatives.
 
Nick Padilla (#3, Jr., G, Harlem, New York) – Liberty League Men's Basketball Honor Roll
Padilla averaged 17.0 points per game with 3.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds across three contests for the Thoroughbreds while stepping up for 30.3 minutes per game. He had a career high 26 points on 11-of-16 shooting against Vassar, had 12 points and three assists Friday at Union, and then recorded six assists and 13 points to help lead the Thoroughbreds past Bard. Padilla went 19-of-35 (54.3 percent) from the field and 6-of-7 at the free-throw line.
 
Madison Meyer (#10, Sr., G, Delanson, New York) – Liberty League Women's Basketball Honor Roll
Meyer averaged 12.7 points with 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals in a 2-1 week for the Thoroughbreds with wins on the road over Vassar and Bard. She scored 14 with six steals in the 59-55 win over Vassar before registering 16 points and 10 rebounds for her first career double-double on Friday at Union. She wrapped up the week with eight points in limited minutes against Bard, finishing the week at 41.5 percent (17-of-41) shooting from the field.
