SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted RPI on senior day at the Williamson Sports Center Pool on Saturday afternoon.
The Thoroughbreds were outscored 212–68 on the men's side to the Engineers, and 191–109 in the women's competition. The men saw a pair of individual event victories on the board, while the women won four individual events in the pool alongside a relay win.
Prior to the meet, the program honored the 11 members of the 2026 senior class (as listed alphabetically) with senior day celebrations:

MEN'S TOP-THREE EVENT FINISHERS
- In the 200 medley relay, the Skidmore quartet of Lis, Jaz Liotta, Thomas Gaughan, and Henry Brien took third with a time of 1:42.15.
- Freshman Graham Mahoney took third in the 200 free after clocking in at a time of 1:52.73.
- In the 100 back, Lis finished second overall with a swim of 56.40 seconds. The senior also finished second in the 200 back with a time of 2:03.42.
- Freshman Jaz Liotta placed third in the 100 breast after finishing with a time of 1:04.32. The first year also placed second in the 200 breast with a time of 2:15.12. Liotta concluded an eventful day in the pool with a second place finish in the 200 IM after clocking in at 2:02.46.
- Competing on the board, Ruiz won the 3-meter dive after totaling the best score of 220.50, before also taking the win in the 1-meter dive with the best score of 210.53.
- In the 100 free, sophomore Thomas Gaughan placed second with a swim of 49.51 seconds. Gaughan also placed third in the 100 fly with a time of 54.15 seconds.
- Sophomore Lachlan Hartshorn placed third in the 500 free with a time of 5:10.37.
WOMEN'S TOP-THREE EVENT FINISHERS
- In the 200 medley relay, the Skidmore quartet of Hunt, Faye Mooney, Gwitt and Emelia Lan out-touched the Engineers by two-hundredths of a second to claim first place at a time of 1:52.50.
- Junior Sabrina Reed won the 1000 free with a top time of 11:12.08, while freshman Arianna Matthews finished right behind her with a second-place time of 11:16.16. The duo reversed roles in the 500 free, with Matthews taking the win with a first-place time of 5:30.26, while Reed placed third at 5:31.67.
- In the 200 free, junior Kelly Hsu was narrowly beaten out by three-tenths of a second and finished second with a time of 1:57.69, while fellow junior Jae Mason touched in third at 2:00.74.
- Hunt placed third in the 100 back after touching in at a time of 1:02.19.
- In the 100 breast, junior Faye Mooney took the event win after clocking the fastest time of 1:12.05.
- Freshman Emelia Lan sprinted to a third place finish in the 50 free with a time of 25.22 seconds. The freshman also placed third in the 200 breast after clocking in at a time of 2:37.35.
- Competing on the board, sophomore Lila Tulimieri placed third in the 1-meter dive with her score of 193.95. The sophomore also took third in the 3-meter dive with a score of 197.48.
- In the 100 free, Hsu touched in second with a time of 55.37. The junior also placed third in the 100 fly with a swim of 1:01.50.
- Mason finished third in the 200 back at a time of 2:12.74, which narrowly missed out on second by a mere one-tenths of a second.
- In the 200 IM, Lan clinched the event victory with the top swim of 2:17.85.
- The Skidmore 200 Free Relay quartet of Hsu, Mason, Mooney and Gwitt placed second with a combined time of 1:42.74.
