Swimming & diving teams earn CSCAA Fall Scholar All-America honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were both recognized with the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Fall Team Scholar All-America award.
 
CSCAA announced the selection of 709 teams from 414 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester. These teams, representing a total of 16,421 student-athletes, were chosen based on their outstanding academic performance during the specified semester. To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Fall 2025 semester.

In Division III, Colorado College men again topped the standings, while Monmouth College women recorded the highest GPA at 3.87. A total of 12 Liberty League teams were honored (Hobart, Ithaca M/W, RPI M/W, RIT M/W, Skidmore M/W, Vassar M/W, William Smith).
 
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, commented on the impressive accomplishments, saying, "the academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional. These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement."

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
 
The Thoroughbreds are back in action on Saturday to host Rensselaer for Senior Day.
