TROY, N.Y. – Three Skidmore College student-athletes earned mention on the Liberty League Honor Roll for the week ending Sept. 7. Representing Skidmore was Gianna DiGioacchino (field hockey), Mara Grace (women's soccer), and Chloe Heitman (women's volleyball).
 
Gianna DiGioacchino (#4, Jr., D, Cranbury, New Jersey) – Liberty League Field Hockey Honor Roll
DiGioacchino anchored the Skidmore back line in Saturday's battle at No. 21 Geneseo, playing the full 60 minutes and helping limit the Knights to just two goals on 16 shots. The senior defender added an offensive spark with a shot on goal in the second quarter and was key in clearing multiple penalty corners as well as transitioning the team from defense to offense.
 
Mara Grace (#21, Fy., M, Bethesda, Maryland) – Liberty League Women's Soccer Honor Roll
Grace scored the Thoroughbreds' goal in a 1-1 draw at Hartwick on Sunday, finding the back of the net in the second minute. The rookie forward totaled six shots over the weekend, including a team-high four against the Hawks, and put one on frame. She also had two shots in her on Saturday at Oneonta while playing all 180 minutes across the two matches.
 
Chloe Heitman (#9, Fy., OH, Acton, Massachusetts) – Liberty League Women's Volleyball Honor Roll
Heitman paced the Thoroughbreds with 40 kills across four matches, averaging 3.08 kills and 3.54 points per set while hitting .243. She had double-digit kills in three contests, including 11 kills on .333 hitting in a sweep of Johnson & Wales and 10 kills apiece against Nichols and at Williams. The first-year outside hitter added 28 digs (2.15 per set) and five blocks, highlighted by a 9-kill, 12-dig effort in a four-set match with SUNY Geneseo.
