Ezickson Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week highlights six Thoroughbreds recognized by Liberty League on first weekly awards

TROY, N.Y. – Field hockey senior Abby Ezickson was selected as the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week for the week ending Sept. 1. Additionally, five Skidmore student-athletes were recognized on the Honor Roll: Allison Morgan, Erin Ohlenbusch – Field Hockey; Will Devall, Tobias Catizone – Men's Soccer; Maya Stolarz – Women's Volleyball.
 
Abby Ezickson (#10, Sr., F, Washington, DC) – Liberty League Field Hockey Offensive Performer of the Week
Ezickson delivered three goals in two games to help Skidmore sweep its Maine trip. She netted the game-winning strike in the fourth quarter of Friday's 2-1 win at Thomas, then followed with a two-goal performance in Saturday's 7-2 victory over Husson. Ezickson scored once in each half and scored on each of her three shots on goal.
 
Erin Ohlenbusch (#20, Jr., M, North Conway, New Hampshire) – Liberty League Field Hockey Honor Roll
Ohlenbusch played a two-way role as Skidmore opened the season 2-0 in Maine. The junior anchored the back line while also generating offense, recording 12 total shots and five points across the two wins. She assisted on the decisive goal in Friday's 2-1 win over Thomas, then broke out with two goals on a team-high seven shots in Saturday's 7-2 victory against Husson.
 
Allison Morgan (#50, Fy., GK, Hopewell Junction, New York) – Liberty League Field Hockey Honor Roll
Morgan earned two wins in her collegiate debut weekend. On Friday at Thomas, she stopped six of seven shots in a full 60-minute effort as Skidmore prevailed 2-1. The next day against Husson, she started and returned in the fourth quarter, combining for 30 minutes in the cage surrendering just one goal in a 7-2 Thoroughbred win. Morgan finished the week with a 2-0 record, six saves, and a 1.33 goals-against average.
 
Will Devall (#1, Sr., GK, Shoreham, New York) – Liberty League Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Devall backstopped Skidmore to an unbeaten opening weekend, finishing with a 1-0-1 record, seven saves, and a 0.50 goals-against average. He opened the year with a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 home win over Salem State, making two second-half stops to preserve the shutout. On Monday at SUNY Oneonta, Devall turned away five shots, including four in the first half, to help the Thoroughbreds earn a 1-1 draw. Across the two matches, he posted an .875 save percentage.
 
Tobias Catizone (#21, Sr., M/F, Caldwell, New Jersey) – Liberty League Men's Soccer Honor Roll
Catizone delivered the decisive goal in Skidmore's season-opening 1-0 victory over Salem State, scoring in the 52nd minute to secure the win. He generated four total shots, including two on target, in the debut. The senior forward remained a constant attacking threat at SUNY Oneonta with three more shots on frame across 82 minutes. Catizone finished the week with a team-high eight shots and the Thoroughbreds' first goal of the season, anchoring the attack in both matches.
 
Maya Stolarz (#11, Sr., M/RS, New York, New York) – Liberty League Women's Volleyball Honor Roll
Stolarz was a steady force at the net as Skidmore split its opening-day matches at the Springfield Invitational. The middle hitter tallied 19 kills and just four errors over seven sets, hitting .259 for the weekend. She posted 10 kills, four blocks, and eight digs against Springfield, then followed with nine kills at a .381 clip to go with four total blocks in a sweep of Keene State. Stolarz finished with 24.0 points across the two matches, ranking among Skidmore's most efficient attackers.
