ABOUT THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP:
The 2025 Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) National Championship will be held May 2-4 at Tryon International in Mill Spring, North Carolina. Hundreds of equestrians from colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada will compete on their school teams or individually in all levels of hunter seat equitation on the flat and over fences and western divisions, including horsemanship, ranch riding and reining.
 
To qualify for the Tryon IHSA National Championship, members competed at hundreds of regular season competitions, qualified for 39 Regional Championships, then eight Zone Finals and three National Reining Association (NRHA) Western Semi-Finals. Team and individual champions will be decided, including the prestigious United States Hunter Jumper Association Hunter Seat  (USHJA) High-Point Rider, presenting the Cacchione Cup and the coveted Back on Track Western High Point-Rider honors.
