Rudraksha Banerjee tied for 47th.
SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Skidmore College golf team finished 10
th at the Port City Classic at the Savannah Country Club.
- The Thoroughbreds shot a 310 in Monday's third round to finish with an overall score of 927 (+75) in the three-round tournament.
- First-year Patrick McLaughlin had the low round of the day for Skidmore. He shot a 75 with three birdies on his card to tie for 50th.
- Tate Esler and Evan Forrest tied for 38th overall. Forrest shot a 79 in round three, Esler finished with an 81.
- Rudraksha Banerjee was one back in a tie for 47th. He had two birdies on Tuesday on the way to a 79.
- Â Tommy Carr birdied the par-5s in No. 14 and No. 4 for a 77 and a t-58 finish.
- Carnegie Mellon and Oglethorpe shared the team title. Carnegie Mellon's Ryan Dannegger claimed medalist honors by two strokes.

"We got off to a very good start and played fairly well. However, we were not able to overcome the challenging windy conditions and the fact we haven't played outside in a long time. It was a good trip overall and gave us a foundation for the spring campaign."
