SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The No. 30 Skidmore College women's tennis team lost to No. 9 Amherst, 7-0, at the indoor courts of the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center on Saturday afternoon.
"Some highly contested matches here. I don't think the 7-0 score reflects how close it was on the court. We left some opportunities out there. To beat a team like that, and break into the top 10, we need to capitalize on every opportunity," said head coach
Curt Speerschneider. "I think we need to just realize that we can take some of those opportunities and turn it on a team like this. All in learning and experience."
