ABOUT SKIDMORE
The Thoroughbreds advanced to the semis with a 46-43 win over Union on Tuesday. Skidmore used 16 points from
Cassie Davidson, a double-double (15 points, 11 rebounds) from
Sarah Chambers, and five steals from
Becca Horger to get by the Garnet Chargers. Skidmore is on a six-game winning streak and enters the semifinal winners of eight out of its last nine. The Thoroughbreds are ranked 25
th nationally with 13.2 steals per game and tied for 40
th with a 5.73 turnover margin.

ABOUT VASSAR
The Brewers are out to defend their 2024 conference title as the two seed. Vassar finished the regular season with a 19-6 record and went 15-3 in the Liberty League. The Brewers potent offense features three players averaging double figures in scoring, led by Tova Gelb at 18.3 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. The Brewers are 18
th in Division III with a 75.6 percent team free-throw percentage.

HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE
This is the third straight postseason that Skidmore and Vassar will meet. Skidmore won a semifinal at home two years ago on the way to claiming the Liberty League crown. Last year, Vassar came out on top of a defensive battle in the league championship game. Since 1990, Skidmore leads the head-to-head series 34-30, but Vassar has won each of the last five since that 2023 semifinal.

Friday's semifinal winners will meet in the league title game on Sunday. Skidmore is looking to make it to the championship game for the third consecutive year. The other semifinal features #4 RIT at #1 Ithaca. Sunday's championship game will be held at the highest remaining seed.
