Liberty League All-Academic Team Fall 2025

Liberty League All-Academic Team honors for 49 Skidmore fall student-athletes

| By:
TROY, N.Y. – Liberty League commissioner Tracy King has announced that 796 fall sport student-athletes have qualified for the league's All-Academic Teams in their respective sports, marking the second-highest total for fall sports since the league began recognizing outstanding academic achievement. The total is surpassed only by the 835 student-athletes who earned a place on the seven All-Academic Teams in the fall of 2021.

Skidmore was well represented by 49 student-athletes from four teams. Women's soccer led the way with 16 honorees, while volleyball had the highest percentage (91.7%) of eligible student-athletes earn the award.

The Liberty League's fall championship sports include men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball. To be recognized as a member of the All-Academic team a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and enrolled full-time with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30. The Liberty League elevated the GPA requirement from 3.20 to 3.30 in 2016-17 to follow the established standard for eligibility for College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America awards.

"The Liberty League has always taken great pride in the academic performance of our student-athletes," said King. "The student-athletes at our 11 member institutions have consistently demonstrate that it is possible to not only achieve on the playing field or court, but also in the classroom and the community. I commend them for their outstanding achievements."
