SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - On Saturday, the Skidmore College Field Hockey team hosts its annual Field Hockey vs. Cancer event. The Thoroughbreds will face Liberty League foe St. Lawrence University at 2:00pm on Wagner Field. Donations to help fight cancer will be accepted during the game with all proceeds going to the LivLIkeLiv Foundation.
 
So many lives have been deeply affected by cancer, including our Field Hockey community. Saturday's game will be played in honor of Olivia Allen, Saratoga Field Hockey player, who tragically lost her battle with leukemia earlier this year.  Her positivity amidst adversity was inspirational, and we honor her memory today. 
 
Donations in the form of cash, checks to the LiveLikeLiv Foundation or Venmo - @SkidmoreFH will be gladly accepted during the game.  A bake sale will also benefit the cause.
