Box Score SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's tennis team wrapped a successful Battle of the Northway on Sunday afternoon with a slew of victories. Skidmore won two doubles matches vs. Rensselaer, a singles match vs. Division I Siena, three singles matches vs. Union, and then closed with a 4-0 sweep over Union in doubles.
 

• Juliette Ceas again went unbeaten for Skidmore. She was 3-0 on the day and 6-0 on the weekend. She represented the lone Skidmore singles win against Siena out of the No. 5 match.
• Konika Dhull and Grace Truong won both of their doubles matches together, including a hard-fought tiebreaker victory over Union in the last match of the tournament.
• In the round two singles session, Coco Prokop, Suhani Sabharwal, and Mia Sarzynska got wins over their opponents from Union.
• The pairing of Ella Provost and Beilynn Geiss were victorious against Union. The remaining two teams of Prokop/Ceas and Sabharwal/Sarzynska also secured wins to close out the action and the sweep for the Thoroughbreds of the Garnet Chargers.

"Great kickoff weekend for us. We came in strong, maintained, then finished strong against some good competition, which is important this time of year. I really liked how we battled in every situation and our games got stronger throughout the weekend. This is good start in a very good direction."
 
UP NEXT
Skidmore will serve as the host institution for next weekend's ITA Northeast Regionals. Competition begins Saturday, Sept. 21.
