Campbell Jenkins tied for 32nd.
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Skidmore College golf team finished tied for 14
th out of 23 teams at the Duke Nelson Invitational on Sunday.
- Sophomore Campbell Jenkins was the team's top finisher. He tied for 32nd. Jenkins birdied No. 16 and had 13 pars on his card on the way to a 4-over 75.
- Patrick McLaughlin posted the team's low round of the day. He shot a 74 featuring birdies on No. 16 and No. 4. McLaughlin moved up 34 placed to finish tied for 63rd with a two-day score of 157.
- Evan Forrest (83) and Tate Esler (80) were both also tied for 63rd in the 120-player field.
- Tommy Carr shot an 82 on Sunday and finished tied for 94th.
- Hamilton was the team leader (593), two clear of overnight leader Hartford.
- Hamilton's Ramon Aroca Gonzalez (70-70—140) held on two his individual lead for the two-shot win.
- Six players played the second round under par after just one on Saturday.
UP NEXT
Skidmore will compete in the Williams Invitational next weekend at the Taconic Golf Club.
