SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's tennis team won 20 out of 23 matches on Saturday as the team opened its 2024-25 season with the first of two days of the Battle of the Northway at the outdoor courts at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center.
 

• In the opener, Skidmore won two out of three doubles matches against Division I Siena College. The Thoroughbreds finished the first round of matches 3-1 with a win against a couple from Union in court four.
• Then, Skidmore claimed six out of eight matches in singles against Rensselaer and two against Union in the second round.
• Skidmore later completed the sweep of Union with all nine singles matches in the third round.
• Ella Provost, Coco Prokop and Juliette Ceas each won all three of the matches that they played.
• Suhani Sabharwal, Margaret English, and Mia Sarzynska were all 2-0.
• Beilynn Geiss and Katelyn Corpuz were both 2-1.
• Konika Dhull and Grace Truong were both victorious in both of their singles matches. Their only loss was in doubles to the top pair from D-I Siena in Giralt/Gomez.
