ABOUT SKIDMORE
The Thoroughbreds enter the playoffs with an 8-11 record and a 2-5 mark in conference play. The program is led by senior CC Wetter, who finished top-five in the conference with 12 goals and 27 points, and sophomore Colby Paul, who has had a breakdown season having scored nine goals with a pair of assists for 20 points.

Anchoring the Skidmore defense is senior goalie Victoria Bodnar, who broke the program single game record with 26 saves against Middlebury and moved into second all time with 379 career saves. Her efforts gave the Thoroughbreds the best team Save Percentage of .798 in the conference.

ABOUT WILLIAM SMITH
The Herons finished the regular season with an even 9-9 record, including being 4-3 in conference play. The program's top scorer in the season is freshman Caroline Kogut, who recorded a dozen goals with three assists for 27 points in the regular season.

Defensively, William Smith finished with the worst team Save Percentage in the conference at .660, with freshman Baker Jeremiah saving 61 shots to allowing 32 goals.

RECENT SERIES HISTORY
With eyes on a road postseason victory, Skidmore needs to look no further than in this year's regular season game against the Herons to inspire confidence in potentially advancing on against the familiar foe. That game, which ended in a major 1-0 road victory for the Thoroughbreds following a clutch Wetter goal in the fourth, ultimately became the tie-breaking decider for the program to take the final playoff spot over RPI and St. Lawrence.

The last time the programs faced off in the playoffs was in the 2014 Liberty League Championship game, which saw the Thoroughbreds blank the Herons in 3-0 fashion to secure the program's sixth Liberty League Championship at the time.
In the last 10 matchups, the Herons hold a 6-4 series record lead. Dating back to the 2002 season, Skidmore holds the overall record lead at 16-14.

NEXT
With a win, the Thoroughbreds will travel to top-seeded Ithaca on Friday to compete in the semifinals round of the conference tournament.
