Thoroughbreds split dual meet against Trinity

HARTFORD, CT – The Skidmore College swimming and diving teams wrapped up a busy weekend in the pool by splitting a competitive dual meet against Trinity on Sunday.

On the men's side, the Thoroughbreds improves to 6-0 on the season after defeating the Bantams by a final score of 161-134 and winning nine individual events alongside a relay. Suffering the first dual meet loss of the year, the women's team is now 5-1 after falling by a final 194.5-105.5 margin, while winning four individual events of their own.

"This is the strongest dual meet start of my career with the women sitting at 5-1 and the men at 6-0 in spite of the elevation of our strength of schedule," said head coach Jill Greenleaf. "Our athletes continued to improve this meet, as they've done in previous weeks. They won close races and showed grit and determination to perform at their best."
