UNITED SOCCER COACHES WEEK 6 POLL
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Skidmore College women's soccer team's unbeaten efforts to start the 2024 season was properly recognized after being ranked No. 18 on week six of the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 National rankings on Tuesday afternoon. The program was one of three Liberty League teams ranked, with Ithaca placed ninth and William Smith ranked 25th.
One of just 16 remaining unbeaten teams left in all of Division III, the Thoroughbreds rocketed into the national rankings for the first time since the 2013 season, where the program peaked as high as No. 16 in the nation after starting out 10-0-2, before ultimately settling in at No. 18 leading into that year's Liberty League playoffs.
The program looks to aim higher this weekend by first taking on RIT for the annual Stable Game matchup on Friday, before hosting No. 9 Ithaca in a pivotal nationally-ranked duel on Saturday.
