UTICA, N.Y.—The Skidmore College field hockey team ran its record to 2-0 with a solid 5-1 win over Utica University Tuesday night. The Pioneers fall to 0-3.

Abby Ezickson scored a career-high two goals to lead the Thoroughbreds. Skidmore led 5-0 until Utica scored on a rebound as time expired in the fourth quarter.
** Ezickson kick-started the offense off a deflection of a
Tobi Dolan shot at 6:37.
Kayla Hassett scored her second of the season at 18:34 to give the Thoroughbreds a 2-0 lead at the half.
** Ezickson opened the second half with her second goal and third of the season at 33:43 from
CC Wetter.
Franny Gallagher made it 4-0 less than three minutes later. Wetter finished the scoring from
Brooke Tunnicliffe at 50:05.
** Skidmore outshot Uitca 20-10 and had a large 16-6 corner advantage.

Victoria Bodnar had four saves on four shots over the first 50:05.
Juliana Yglesias had one save over the final 9:55.
