GENESEO, N.Y.—Geneseo scored the game's first four goals, then held off a late Skidmore comeback for a 4-2 non-league men's soccer win Saturday evening. The Thoroughbreds start the season 0-1-1, while the Knights are 1-0-1.

Kamal Ibrahim scored both Skidmore goals, less than a minute apart late in the second half.
** Down 4-0, Ibrahim converted a penalty at 86:30 and the came right back at 87:26 to cut it to 4-2. The goals were number 20 and 21 for the talented senior who has not missed a penalty in three seasons.
** Geneseo led in shots 12-7 and corners 5-1.
Jonathan Phytrion had three saves for the Thoroughbreds.
** It was the first win against the Thoroughbreds for the Knights who lead the series 1-0-2.
** Skidmore is at Worcester Polytechnic on Sept. 9 for a 12 p.m. game.
