ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams had a big first day at the RIT Don Richards Invitational. The men piled up 191 points to sit second, while the women are also second with 201. Host RIT leads both events. The meet concludes Saturday.
 

• Nicolas Sodi won the 500 free (4:43.44) and was on the third place 200 free relay with Jonah Vaynshtok, Brendan Lu, Gavin Schiavi (1:27.02) and the third place 400 medley relay with Ryan Delfico, Liam Keating, and Lu (3:33.38).
• The 200 women's 200 free relay of Kelly Hsu, Gretchen Gwitt, Chloe Kim, and Fay Mooney finished second with 1:41.30.
• April Cook was third in the 500 free (5:19.33), just in front of Sabrina Reed in fourth (5:19.41). Caroline Rogers took eighth (5:24.38).
• Jonah Vaynshtok was sixth in the 500 free (4:59.60).
• Hsu was fourth in the 200IM (2:15.33), while Ginny Hunt took sixth (2:18.57).
• Delfico finished fourth in the 200IM.
• Gwitt was seventh in the 50 free (25.20).*
• The women's 400 medley relay of Hunt, Mooney, Gwitt and Hsu was third (4:07.04).
