SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College riding team won its home show on Nov. 11 with 46 points, 10 points ahead of Reserve Champion team Siena College.  Skidmore added 10 more blues to their season total for their Blue-Ribbon Challenge fundraiser.

The first win of the day went to Sophia Olivero '26 in the Open Fences.  Thoroughbreds won two out of three Intermediate Equitation Over Fences, with Elaina Doyle '24 and Harper Sanford '25 both taking blue ribbons.  Two Skidmore riders also made their over fences debut in the IHSA, with Aiden McNamara '27 taking second in Open Fences, and Ani McIntyre '27 finishing third in her section of Limit Fences.

The afternoon's flat classes saw more blues, with Kenya Sanders '25 and Sanford each winning an Open Flat section, and McNamara and Olivero winning their sections of Intermediate Flat. Olivero and Sanford rode off for the High Point Rider award, and after rigorous testing, Sanford took the prize with Olivero taking Reserve.  Isa Jensen '27 and Sadie Nesbitt '25 each won their section of Limit Flat, and Stella Allen '27 took the last win for the day with her debut ride in the Novice Equitation.

The team finishes their fall season at home on November 18^th.
