FULL SCHEDULE
 
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College softball team has announced its 2023 season schedule.
 
The Thoroughbreds will play 36 contests, including 16 games scheduled at home on the new turf playing surface at Wagner Park. Skidmore will also play doubleheaders against all seven Liberty League opponents.
 
The regular season begins March 4 on the road at Oneonta. Skidmore will then travel to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina over spring break to play eight games against eight different opponents March 12-16.
 
After returning north, the Thoroughbreds will tune up for league play with three straight home doubleheaders: Castleton 3/25, Plattsburgh 3/29, Russell Sage 3/31. Skidmore will also host SUNY Delhi (4/8) in a non-league doubleheader.
 
Each of Skidmore's final seven dates will be against squads from the Liberty League.
Liberty League action will kick off April 15 at home against RPI. The Thoroughbreds will also host St. Lawrence (4/16), Ithaca (4/22), and Union (4/23).
 
The thoroughbreds will play their final six regular season games on the road, including two at RIT (4/29), Rochester (4/30), and Clarkson (5/5).
                
The highest seed will host the Liberty League Tournament May 11-13. The top five teams will all be in attendance.
