CLINTON, N.Y. – Sophomore Konika Dhull from the Skidmore College women's tennis team won two singles matches on Friday to advance to the round of 16 at the ITA Northeast Regionals.
 

• Dhull defeated Lauren Rodrigues of Ithaca, 6-0, 6-1, before moving on with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Angelica Aksdal-Jansen of St. Lawrence. Dhull will face Anastasiia Balyk for a spot in the quarters on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
• In the doubles draw, sophomores Ella Provost and Grace Truong are also still alive. The duo retired a pair from Rochester 8-3 in the opening round. They will face Macey Dowd and Elyse Duley of Vassar in the round of 16 on Saturday at 9 a.m. The quarterfinal matches will be played immediately after.
•  Senior Maya Lal (6-1, 6-0) and first year Beilynn Geiss (6-0, 6-0) also earned opening-round wins in singles.  
• In both draws, round of 16 matches will be played in addition to the quarterfinals on Saturday. Semifinals and final matches will take place on Sunday.
