WILTON, N.Y.— Another Liberty League match and another Liberty League win for the Skidmore College women's tennis team. This time an 8-1 decision against St. Lawrence University Saturday at the Wilton YMCA.
 

• Skidmore has won 46 straight Liberty League matches and is 4-0 overall and in league play. The Saints are 2-1 and 2-1.
• Katherine Almquist beat Lillian Sullivan 6-1, 6-2 at number one singles. Chanhtel Thongphok and Grace Truong won 8-1 at number one doubles.
• The Thoroughbreds host Bard on Sunday at 10 a.m.

"It was good to get out there again after a couple weeks off.  St. Lawrence fought hard as they always do, and that's exactly what we needed this time of the year.  Some of our players faced a few mental bumps they had to overcome, but that's expected this early and as we're just getting back into a full match schedule for the first time in two years.  We're just taking it match by match and we're looking forward to another one tomorrow."
