St. Lawrence University will continue face mask requirements at all times when inside athletic facilities. This masking requirements extends to all home Saints athletic events.

MATCHUP:
  • Déjà vu: The teams just played on Friday (Feb. 18) in Canton. The Saints took that one 76-45. SLU also won the first match-up on Dec. 4 in Saratoga Springs, 73-62.
  • Skidmore shook off Friday's loss to trounce Clarkson, 87-45.
  • The Thoroughbreds are returning to the Liberty League Tournament for the first time since 2019. The team lost to Vassar 71-53 in the quarterfinals.
  • Skidmore has played in six of the last nine tournaments, winning in 2015 and 2018.
  • On the road, the team beat St. Lawrence 76-62 in double overtime to claim the 2015 championship.
  • Skidmore had three players scoring in double figures. Kate McCarney (11.7ppg), Clare Driscoll (11.6 ppg) and Julia Blanck (10.6 ppg). Blanck is also pulling down 10.0 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.
  • Ava McCann (13.1 ppg) and Katie Fredrick (12.5 ppg, 14.0 rpg) lead the Saints. Dylan Watkiss is contributing 3.1 assists per game.

  • The winner travels to Ithaca for a Feb. 26 semifinal match-up against #2 Vassar College. The Championship game is Feb. 27 at Ithaca.
