TROY, N.Y. – Senior forward
Carrie Hughes from the Skidmore College field hockey team highlighted three Thoroughbreds selected to the 2022 All-Liberty League Field Hockey squad. Hughes was selected to the First Team, while
Kayla Hassett earned Second Team honors and
Tobi Dolan landed an Honorable Mention selection.

Carrie Hughes – All-Liberty League First Team
- Hughes led the Liberty League in scoring in her senior season with 23 goals in 21 games played.
- She also paced the conference in shots (110), shots on goal (77), and points (53).
- Hughes tallied eight multi-goal games on the year with three hat tricks (9/3 vs. Thomas, 9/10 vs. Nazareth, 9/27 vs. Castleton).
- She was selected the Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week three times (9/12, 10/3, 10/31) and on Sept. 14 she was named the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Division III Player of the Week.
- Currently, Hughes ranks in the top-20 nationally in goals and points per game.

Kayla Hassett – All-Liberty League Second Team
- Hassett, a sophomore, was a force for the Thoroughbreds on both ends of the field.
- Offensively, she had three goals and a team-high eight assists to finish with 14 points. She tied for fourth in the Liberty League circuit in assists.
- Defensively, Hassett contributed to the defensive unit that allowed 2.14 goals per game and the third-fewest penalty corners (47) allowed in its seven league matches.
- Hassett posted a goal and an assist on Sept. 10 versus Nazareth and again on Sept. 24, playing a hand in both Skidmore goals, in a 2-0 conference win over St. Lawrence.

Tobi Dolan – All-Liberty League Honorable Mention
- Dolan appeared in 20 games with 14 starts for Skidmore in their sophomore season. They also started each of the seven in-league contests.
- Dolan was a key factor in Skidmore's defense, which held opponents to one goal or fewer nine times in 2022. Dolan recorded a defensive save on Sept. 24 against St. Lawrence in a 2-0 Skidmore victory.
- They also became an offensive force in the second half of the year for the Thoroughbreds. Each of Dolan's 11 points game in Skidmore's final seven games of the regular season, with at least one point in six of them.
- Dolan's first-career goal game against #1 Middlebury on Oct. 12. Then, they scored the game-winning goal Oct. 19 versus Oneonta. Finally, Dolan had a goal and two assists in Skidmore's 7-0 win over Utica on Oct. 26.

- Skidmore finished the 2022 season with a 12-9 record, which was highlighted by three victories (9/22 vs. Babson, 9/27 vs. Castleton, 10/29 vs. Cortland) against teams that went on to earn NCAA Tournament berths.
