MATCHUP:
- Skidmore returns to the Liberty League tournament after a rare absence in 2021. The Thoroughbreds have won 10 league championships. The last one coming in 2016.
- Defending champion Vassar and Rochester have shared league titles since then with Vassar winning last year and 2018.
SERIES:
- Vassar beat the Thoroughbreds 2-1 on Oct. 21 in Poughkeepsie.
- Skidmore leads the all-time series 35-18-2, dating back to 1975. The Brewers have won four straight, including a 2-1 overtime win in the 2019 Liberty League Tournament.

- The Thoroughbreds have the league's top scoring threat in senior Carrie Hughes. Hughes leads the league in scoring with 23 goals and seven assists for 53 points. She recently went over the 100 career point mark in only three seasons and has 40 goals and 23 assists for 103 career points. She sits 17th on the all-time scoring list, two points behind Krista Lamoreaux with 105.
- CC Wetter (11 goals, 4 assists, 26 points) and Morgan Sickels (6-5—17) are also scoring threats.
- Kayla Hassett and Toby Dolan have anchored the Skidmore defense in front of goalie Victoria Bodnar (2.11 GAA, .711 save%).
- Skidmore has struggled on the road with a 3-6 record away from Wagner Park.

- The Brewers are 8-1 at home, but lost 1-0 to New Paltz in their last home outing.
- Gianna Trunfio leads the team in scoring with 10 goals and an assist. Sarah Dumareq has played every minute in goal with a 1.03 GAA and 0.673 save %.
- Vassar has allowed only 18 goals in 17 games.
