MATCHUP:

• Skidmore comes in as the three seed with three wins in its last four games.
• Skidmore scored a late goal to defeat Bard 1-0 on Saturday to clinch a playoff spot and home field in the first round.
• The Thoroughbreds are looking to get back to the semifinal round for the second consecutive season. Skidmore last appeared in a Liberty League title game in 2016, which was the third in a streak of three runners-up in four years.
• Hobart ended the regular season with a 1-0 road loss to St. Lawrence but made it into the postseason thanks to a six-game unbeaten streak prior to the defeat.
• The Statesmen won the Liberty League Tournament in 2019 and have won three since 2009.

• Five of the last seven head-to-head meetings have ended in ties, including this season's meeting in Geneva on Sept. 24. Finn Weber scored for the Thoroughbreds, while Connor Koschineg scored for the Statesmen.
• Hobart leads the all-time series 11-8-12.
• The sides met most recently in the playoffs in the 2016 semifinals, where the Thoroughbreds advanced in penalty kicks. Skidmore also won a year earlier in the semis, 1-0.

• Kamal Ibrahim is Skidmore's and the Liberty League's leading scorer with 14 goals.
• Finn Weber and Etham Kilmnick have both scored three times. Weber also has a team-leading three assists.
• Twelve players have scored at least one goal for Skidmore.
• Bobby Stratts has played every minute of every game in goal for the Thoroughbreds. He has a 0.88 goals-against average and a .859 save percentage.
•  Through 16 games played, Skidmore has outscored its opponents 30-14.

 
HOBART:

• The balanced Hobart attack features no players with more than four goals on the year.
• Quinn Phillips leads the fleet with four goals and two assists.
• Koschineg, Amad Miller, and Frederick Maden all have scored three goals. Koschineg leads the team with five assists.
• Christian Burkhart and Guillermo Castañeda Chang have split time in goal for Hobart. As a unit, they had a 0.94 goals-against average and a .746 save percentage.
• Hobart has been outscored on the year, 20-16.

 
NEXT:

• Tuesday's winner will travel to second-seeded Vassar College to take on the Brewers in a semifinal matchup on Friday, Nov. 4. If Skidmore is victorious in both matches, it will either host RIT or Rensselaer, or travel to St. Lawrence for the title game on Sunday, Nov. 6.
