Thoroughbreds dismiss Bears for North Country sweep

POTSDAM, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams completed 2-0 weekends with a pair of wins at SUNY Potsdam. The women won 226-65, while the men won 210-74. Both teams start the season at 2-0.
 
WOMEN MEN
  • The men's 200 medley relay of Ryan Delfico, Liam Keating, Brendan Lu and Gavin Schiavi was first. Delfico went on to win the 100 breast, 200 back and 200 IM. Keating was first in the 50 free and 200 breast and swam the third leg of the winning 200 free relay. Lu won the 200 fly and 100 free. Schiavi was also on the winning 200 free relay.
  • Miles Herman won the 1000 free, while Nic Sodi was first in the 200 free and 500 free. Kyle Heise was first in the 100 fly and on the 200 free relay. David Marcello was the fourth member of the 200 free relay.
  • Tomas Ruiz took honors in the 1 and 3 meter diving events.
