OSWEGO, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's soccer team is off to a 2-0 start after a 3-0 win over Keuka College Sunday at Oswego State.
Keuka (0-3) frustrated the Thoroughbreds in a scoreless first half, but Skidmore quickly broke it open in the second.
Finn Weber broke the ice at 50:14.
Roman Toepler and
Kamal Ibrahim scored goals 24 seconds apart at 66:06 and 66:30 to break it open. Ibrahim assisted on Toepler's goal, while
Ethan Slager had the helper on the third goal.
Skidmore outshot Keuka 26-4 and had a 9-1 corner advantage.
Bobby Stratts earned his second shutout win of the weekend with two saves.
The Thoroughbreds are at Manhattanville on Saturday.
