SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College softball team made the most of its return to Wagner Park with a 6-4, 8-0 Liberty League sweep of St. Lawrence University on Saturday.

The Thoroughbreds are 2-2 overall and in league play, while the Saints drop to 0-9 and 0-6.

Hannah Davis keyed a three-run first inning for Skidmore. Down 0-2, she stayed alive for seven more pitches, drilling number nine deep to right center for a two-run double and a 2-1 Skidmore lead. The Thoroughbreds stayed in control the rest of the way for the 6-4 win.

Davis was 2-3 with a double and triple. She had the complete game win on the mound, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits with six strikeouts and four walks.
Kaitlyn Judd was 2-3 with a double and RBI.
Chloe McGonagle and
Grace O'Connell both went 2-3.

Skidmore scored four runs in the first and ended the game early with three in the sixth for the 8-0 win.

Katie Anderson was 3-4 with two runs and two RBI. Judd was 2-2 and
Franny Casillas was 2-3 with an RBI.
Lindsey Raimondi had the shutout, allowing only two hits with five strikeouts and two walks.
