TROY, N.Y.—The Skidmore College women's tennis team downed Rensselaer in Liberty League women's tennis action Saturday afternoon.
 
The Thoroughbreds are 4-0 overall and in league play. The Engineers were playing their first match of the season.
 
Risa Fukushige and May Lal set the tone with an 8-5 win at number one doubles. Fukushige won at number one singles 6-1, 6-3 over Roni Jones and Lal won 6-1, 6-3 at number two over Chloe Barr.
 
Skidmore travels to Middlebury on April 25 for its lone non-league regular-season match.
