RESULTS
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against Vassar College Saturday afternoon at the Williamson Sports Center.
 
The women lost a tight meet 148-140, while the men dropped a 184-101 decision.
 
The meet was highlighted by some exceptional performances, including some lifetime best times. 
 
There were strong relay performances in the 200 MR with both teams finishing second with season best times.
 
April Cook and 
Miles Herman started out individual events with victories in the 1000 Free. Cook won with a lifetime best 11:25.95 and Herman touched in 10:33.74.
 
Rachel Olson and 
Lizzie Day each swam to three individual event victories with strong early season performances.  Olson won the 100 Breast (1:10.35), 200 Breast (2:32.70, and the 200 IM (2:15.78).  
 
Day notched victories in the 50 Free (25.85), 100 Fly (1:01.68) and the 100 Free in a lifetime best time of 56.07.
 
Diver 
Sophia May added to her streak of victories, winning both the 1M (193.65) and 3M (192.83) for the third straight meet.
 
Adding to the event wins on the men's side were 
Liam Keating's swim in the 100 Breast (1:03.39) and 
Jonah LeCompte's lifetime best time in the 100 Fly (56.18).
 
Cyrus Cheung swam an impressive 200 Back to finish second with his lifetime best time of 2:09.40, while 
Ryan Delfico had a strong first swim in the 200 IM (2:04.50) to finish second.
 
Skidmore is at Union on November 13 and home again against Potsdam on Nov. 14 at 1 p.m.
