MATCHUP: Skidmore looks to get back to the Liberty League Semifinals for the first time since 2016 as it travels to RIT for the Liberty League Quarterfinals. The Thoroughbreds enter as the sixth seed after a 3-3-3 conference record and 8-5-3 mark overall. RIT is the three seed after posting a 5-1-3 conference record.
 
SERIES: Skidmore handed RIT its only conference defeat of the season on Oct. 16 in Saratoga Springs. Skidmore is ahead 8-3-1 in the head-to-head series dating back to 2008. The Thoroughbreds have had the upper hand in seven of the past nine meetings (7-1-1).
 
SKIDMORE: Finn Weber leads Skidmore in scoring and is tied for second in the league in goals with seven and 17 points. Kamal Ibrahim is second with four goals and an assist for nine points. Roman Toepler and Alex Llerena are tied for third on the team with three goals each.
 
Bobby Stratts has played all but one half in goal for the Thoroughbreds. He is fifth in the Liberty League with a 0.80 goals-against average and a .831 save percentage. He is also third with 4.00 saves per game.
 
The Thoroughbreds have the third-ranked offense in the league, averaging 1.750 goals per game. Meanwhile, Skidmore holds opponents to 0.81 goals per game, ranked fifth in the conference.
 
RIT: RIT enters the tournament second in the league with 1.94 goals per game, and is third in defense, allowing 0.71 goals per contest. The Tigers lead the league with a 1.23 goal margin.
 
Jaden Longdon has a conference-leading seven assists and is tied with Weber for second with 17 points to lead the Tigers. Randy Dickersbach and Jonathan Cohen are tied for second on the team with 12 points each.
 
Jason Trapp is second in the league with a 0.58 goals-against average and third with a .852 save percentage. His six shutouts are tied for third in the Liberty League.
 
NEXT: The winner will play second-seeded Ithaca (8-5-5, 6-1-2 Liberty League) in the Liberty League Semifinals at host and top-seeded RPI on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 1:30 p.m.
