UTICA, N.Y.—The Skidmore College field hockey team scored the game's final five goals on the way to a 5-2 non-league win at Utica College Wednesday afternoon.

Their fourth straight win pushed the Thoroughbreds to 10-9, while the Pioneers are 8-8.

Down 2-0 in the third quarter, Skidmore scored five goals in less than seven minutes to quickly erase the deficit and put the game away.

Bella Faber broke the ice with her fourth of the season at 42:31,
Mariah Redler followed that up with her 14
th goal from
Carrie Hughes at 43:11. Faber put the Thoroughbreds up for good at 46:52 from
Kayla Hassett.

Skidmore wasn't done. Hughes made it 4-2 at 48:18 from Redler and then assisted on a Redler goal at 49:06 for the 5-2 lead.

Jess Gaetgens had two saves for the win.

The Thoroughbreds close out their season at home on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Cortland.
