RESULTS

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted Rensselaer in the final home meet of the season and Senior Day for eight members of the Class of 2020.
 
The RPI women won 149-90 and the RPI men won 153-73.
 
Rachel Olson had a big afternoon with individual wins in the 200 Free (2:01.89) and 100 Breast (1:10.78).  In the 200 free, she surged in the last 25 yards to narrowly touch out her RPI competitor by 0.10. In contrast, she led from start to finish in the 100 Breast.
 
Senior Hannah Krall won 3-Meter Diving with a personal best score of 222.08, a score that places her third all-time in program history. She also finished second on 1-Meter (186.53).
 
The Thoroughbreds had Strong second place finishes from Chloe Cummings (1000 Free, 11:48.69), Olivia Czelusniak (50 Free, 26.71), Brooke Edwards (100 Fly 1:04.07), Lizzie Day (100 Free 58.78) and Elizabeth Levy (500 Free, 5:37.95).
 
Miles Herman broke RPI's event streak with his win in the 500 Free (4:58.76). Teammate Josh Finkelman-Mahoney followed suit in the next event, recording a victory in the 100 Breast (1:03.00).
 
Brian Borchard recorded a season best time with his 3rd place finish in the 200 Free (1:56.80), while senior Kinser Bonner had a strong swim in the 100 Fly (57.72).
 
"We fell today to two teams I expect to be competing for the Liberty League championship in February," said Skidmore coach Jill Greenleaf. "Our athletes swam and dove with intensity and grit, recording many season-best performances. We were overmatched today, but continued to compete to the best of our abilities.  I'm proud of everyone's effort and look forward to it continuing!"
 
Skidmore will close out the regular season Feb. 1 at the Vassar Sprint Invite.
