ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – After a scoreless first half, the Skidmore men's soccer team dominated in the second to overcome Bard 2-1 Saturday afternoon in Liberty League action.
 
Down 1-0, Ted Roach and Alex Ricci both scored late goals to give the Thoroughbreds the victory in their closing game of the 2019 season.
 
Skidmore finishes 7-5-4 and 3-4-2 in the Liberty League, while Bard ends its season 1-14-2 and 0-9 in the league.
 
Bard was the first to find the back of the net when Dylan Jung scored in the 65^th minute.
 
Within 10 minutes the Thoroughbreds came back to tie it up when they had a corner kick opportunity. Ted Roach took a header, launching the ball past the goalie off of an assist by Stanley Langyintuo. Alex Ricci broke the tie in the 87^th with a beautiful header off of an assist from Finn Weber.
 
Skidmore goalie Sebastian Bosch ended the game with two saves.
 
Skidmore outshot Bard 17-4 in the second half and 24-6 for the game.
